Dear parents,
Tomorrow is a Shoulder Day and students in Years 7-9 will not be in school.
Year 10 will be taking part in a Languages Day and all students studying French/Spanish must attend. This is an important day for your child and has been designed to support them with their GCSE Languages option. The day will run from 9:30am - 1:30pm. Students can wear their own clothes to school.
The focus of the day is building confidence with Languages, and students will enjoy a range of activities that allow them to develop skills in this area. The programme will be delivered by members of the MFL department and will be centred on driving reading, listening and speaking skills.
Year 11 will be taking part in a GCSE exam preparation day. The day will run from 8:45am - 2:15pm. Students can wear their own clothes to school. This day will offer students the opportunity for intense preparation towards their upcoming GCSE examinations.
