SUBJECT
Why Geography Matters
“The Earth is our environment to protect and the garden to tend.”
Pope Francis
Geography helps students understand the world they live in and their place within it.
It explores how people, places and environments are connected, helping students make sense of a changing world and their responsibility to care for it.
MISSION
Our Approach
The Geography Department develops curious, informed and responsible global citizens.
Students are encouraged to question, investigate and think critically about the world around them. Through enquiry and real-world contexts, geography becomes a way of understanding both local and global issues.
LEARNING
From Year 7 to GCSE
Students explore a wide range of topics, from local environments to global systems.
