Free school meals
Free school meals are available to support families and ensure all students have access to a nutritious meal during the school day.
If your child is eligible, this also allows the school to receive additional funding to support their education.
ELIGIBILiTY
Who can apply
You may be eligible for free school meals if you receive certain government benefits.
These include:
- Universal Credit (subject to income threshold)
- Child Tax Credit (with income limits and not in receipt of Working Tax Credit)
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- The guarantee element of State Pension Credit

Why it matters
Even if your child does not take a free school meal, registering eligibility allows the school to receive additional funding.
This funding, known as Pupil Premium, helps provide additional support, resources, and opportunities for students.

School meals
Catering and
lunch information
All Saints Catholic College works with Accent Catering to provide breakfast, breaktime snacks and lunch for students.
Breakfast is available free of charge to all students from 7.45 am each morning. Students can also purchase food at breaktime and lunchtime.
