ATTENDANCE

Attendance expectations

At All Saints Catholic College, we expect students to attend school every day.

There is a clear link between attendance and achievement. Students with strong attendance are more likely to achieve well and progress successfully after school.

TIMINGS

School day

  • 7:45 am — School opens (Breakfast Club available)
  • 8:25 am — Line up
  • 8:30 am — Lessons begin
  • 3:15 pm — End of school day

ATTENDANCE

Why attendance matters

Students who attend school regularly are more likely to achieve strong GCSE results.

Missing school can quickly impact learning, progress, and confidence. Even a small number of missed days can make a significant difference over time.

SUPPORT

How we can help

We are here to support students and families to ensure every child can attend school regularly.

Support may include:

  • Learning support
  • SEND support
  • Pastoral support
  • Support with health or well-being
  • Guidance for families through external services

SUPPORT

If your child is struggling to attend

If your child is having difficulty attending school, please speak to us.

Talking to your child and sharing any concerns with the school helps us provide the right support.

We can work with you to address issues such as well-being, relationships, or challenges outside of school.
