GCSE Art Trip to Tate Modern

Updated: 4 days ago

On Tuesday 1st April, our Year 10 GCSE Art class visited the Tate Modern to explore the Electric Dreams exhibition and the gallery’s general collection, gathering ideas and inspiration for their "Dreamscapes" project.

Electric Dreams celebrates pioneering artists who redefined visual art through optical, kinetic, programmed, and digital techniques—offering a rare glimpse into the early days of immersive and tech-driven art. From light and movement to sound, students were fascinated by the dynamic and interactive nature of the works on display.

This experience has sparked new creative ideas, and we can’t wait to see how it influences their upcoming projects!
