SUBJECT
Why Computing Matters
Communication is central to how we learn, create and share ideas.
Computing gives students the tools to understand and shape the digital world, developing skills that allow them to think logically, solve problems and communicate effectively.
MISSION
Our Approach
The Computing Department develops confident, creative and responsible digital learners.
Students are encouraged to explore how technology works, how it can be used to solve problems, and how it can be used responsibly in the world around them.
LEARNING
From Year 7 to GCSE
Students develop knowledge of computer science, programming and digital systems.
They learn how to design and create programs, understand how technology works, and apply their skills across a range of contexts, preparing them for further study and the modern workplace.
