Finance

Financial transparency

All Saints Catholic College is committed to using public funding responsibly and effectively.

We review our financial performance regularly and compare our spending with similar schools to ensure resources are used to support high-quality education.

Benchmarking

School's Financial Benchmarking tool

The Schools Financial Benchmarking Tool allows schools to compare their income, expenditure, and staffing structures with those of similar schools.

It helps schools to:

  • Make informed financial decisions
  • Compare spending with similar schools and trusts
  • Share good practice and learn from others
  • Review how resources support teaching and outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency

Value

Value for money

At All Saints Catholic College, we aim to ensure that all spending delivers value and supports student outcomes.

This is achieved through careful planning, budget management, and ongoing review of how resources are used across the school.

During the last financial year, this has included:

  • Negotiating value with suppliers and reviewing contracts
  • Working collaboratively with local schools, the Diocese, and the Local Authority
  • Using national procurement frameworks, including Crown Commercial Services

Policy

Charging and remission

The school follows Department for Education guidance on charging for school activities, in line with the Education Act 1996.

This ensures that any charges made are fair, transparent, and compliant with national requirements.
