All Saints Day 2026
Celebrating All Saints Day: A Day of Faith, Teamwork and Community

On Friday 23rd October, All Saints Catholic College came together to celebrate All Saints Day, our school feast day, with a wonderful programme of activities centred on faith, reflection, teamwork and community spirit.
Inspired by our school mission, taken from John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life and have it to the full,” the day provided an opportunity for students to reflect on what it means to live life in all its fullness and how we put our Catholic values into practice every day.
Throughout the celebrations, students explored the three pillars of our school motto: Orare (Prayer), Laborare (Work) and Servire (Service). Through a combination of prayer and reflection, charitable activities and collaborative challenges, students were encouraged to think about their responsibilities to themselves, one another and the wider community.
There was plenty of excitement as students took part in a series of creative and team-building challenges, including Bridge Building, Escape Room, the Smarties Challenge, Riddle Puzzles, Egg Drop and Tower Building. These activities encouraged problem-solving, communication, resilience and cooperation, with students working together to overcome challenges and celebrate their achievements.
Our Year 8 students also enjoyed a special Elev8 session, continuing their journey of personal development, confidence-building and enrichment.
A particular highlight of the day was the visit from Rise Theatre, whose engaging and thought-provoking performances inspired students to reflect on their faith, their individual gifts and the importance of making a positive difference in the world.
The celebrations concluded with our virtual rewards celebration on YouTube Live, recognising the achievements, efforts and contributions of students across the school.
All Saints Day is a particularly special occasion in our school calendar, reminding us of the importance of our shared faith and the values that unite us as a community.
It was a fantastic day of faith, friendship and celebration, bringing our whole school community together and reminding us what it truly means to be part of All Saints Catholic College.
