Grenfell Memorial Mass

On Friday 19th June, the All Saints Catholic College community came together for a beautiful and moving Mass to mark the 9th anniversary of the Grenfell tragedy and remember all those whose lives were affected.

Students, staff, governors, and members of the wider community gathered in prayer and reflection, honouring the 72 people who lost their lives and remembering the families, friends, and local residents whose lives were forever changed.

As a school at the heart of the Grenfell community, this annual Mass remains a deeply significant occasion. It provided an opportunity to reflect on the values of faith, hope, love, and solidarity that continue to inspire our community.

A special feature of the Mass was the contribution of our Schola, who once again sang beautifully throughout the service. Their prayerful and uplifting music helped create a truly reverent atmosphere and enhanced this important act of remembrance.

Through prayers, readings, and moments of quiet reflection, we remembered those who died and prayed for healing, peace, and strength for all those still affected. The service was a powerful reminder of the importance of standing together, supporting one another, and keeping the memories of those lost alive in our hearts.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making the Mass such a respectful and meaningful occasion. It was a fitting tribute that reflected the compassion, faith, and unity that define our school community.

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
